Itinerary

1. day: Arrival to Beirut, transfer to hotel. Accommodation in the hotel. Afternoon tour of the city. Overnight in the hotel.
2. day: Day for visiting cultural and historical landmarks of Beirut (National Museum, Hamra, walking tour on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to the Pigeon Rocks . Return to hotel and overnight.
3. day: Breakfast. Excursion to the Deir el Kamar. It is a city that was completely destroyed and rebuilt again in impressive traditional style. BEIRUT


Beirut - city of great colors, a blend of modern and oriental. Surrounded by the giant chain of Mount Lebanon, on the other side of the Mediterranean Sea along the coast are swarming with fashionable yachting clubs. Etual square is the lifeblood of this city. The first archaeological finds from the area of Byblos are from V millennium BC In the third millennium BC Byblos has developed into an important port and about 2800 BC, won the city walls. BEITEDDINE


Beiteddine is also the name of the little town and the magnificent complex of palaces that are in it. Palace which was owned by the governor of Lebanon from the eighteenth century, Emir Bashir, may still be seen from the road approaching the valley and the landscape looks, almost, as a scene from a fairytale. Style in which he built this palace is a blend of traditional Arabian style and the Italian Baroque style (as the architect of this building were Italians). The palace has a huge garden which descends on a terrace on which are planted with poplar trees and flower shrubs. Besides this palace, located near the two palaces. Both were built for the sons of Emir Bashir. One is now converted into a luxury hotel, while the other turned into a house archbishopric, but still carries some of the original parts of the old palace, like a large stone gate and the roof of the Chinese pagoda style.





SIDON


Sidon small port city located between the citrus orchards and banana plantations, located some 40 km south of Beirut. At least 6000 years old, long ago this city was an important and rich Phoenician center. With its charming crusade castle and beautiful mosques, souks Canova and rich, this is one of the most attractive and most historical cities in Lebanon. TYRE

DEIR EL QAMAR


In the Middle Ages, Lebanon was divided into two feudal parts and every part is ruled by an emir. At the beginning of the seventeenth century, Fakredine Drusus, the governor of Lebanon has expanded its power over its territory, which corresponds to the size of today's Lebanon and parts of the feudal united into one. Its first capital was Baklin, but soon the lack of water, the capital was moved to a nearby Der El Kamar, who was provided with a number of water sources. Three centuries later, the village of Der Al Kamar is one of the best preserved examples of architecture in Lebanon privincijalne. This is an extremely picturesque place ideal for a couple of hours enjoying a central position in the village square where the fountain is also a place which is surrounded by the most important cultural and historical sights.
