MOUNTAIN EXPEDITION MUZTAGH ATA 7546m


Muztag Ata (Father of the ice mountains in the translation) is located in China, in Xinjiang Autonomous Region (38 ° 16'42 "N, 75 ° 06'57" E) and the second highest peak of the peaks that are located on the northeastern edge of the Tibetan plateau (not the second highest on the Tibetan plateau). Belongs to Kunlun Shan Mountain massif, although it is physically closer to the Pamir massif. This top has a reputation as the easiest 7000mnv summit, because the western slopes of mild and relatively dry climate which is characteristic of the region of Xinjiang.

Muztag Ata is located south of the peak Kongur Tagh, the highest peak of Kunlun Shan massif. Together, the two peaks forming isolated entity that is separate from the main wreath Kunlun Mountains, but also separate from the Pamir massif to the west. Sometimes both the top called "Chinese Pamir. Not far from these peaks to the north and east are plain Tarım Basin and the Taklamakan desert. Karakoram Highway passes near both the top and in the vicinity of the Karakul lake from which to see both the mountain.

4. day: Transfer from Kashgar to Karakul lake, then easy trekking to nomad settlement Subashi on 3400m. Accommodation and overnight in yurts.

5. day: Ascent to Base camp on 4450m. Overnight in camp.

6. day: Acclimatization walk around BC area. Overnight in tents.

7. day: Ascent from BC to C1 on 5200m, set up the tents. Overnight in C1.

8. day: Descent from C1 to BC. Overnight in tents.

9. day: Day for rest in BC. Overnight in tents.

10. day: Ascent from BC to C1. Overnight in tents.

11. day: Ascent from C1 to C2 on 6200m. Overnight in tents.

- Passengers who are not citizens of the Republic of Serbia are obliged to familiarize themselves with visa requirement of the destination country
- The itineraru is based on the basis of a minimum of 5 passengers
- In case of insufficient number of passengers for the realization of the arrangement, the deadline for notice of termination arrangement is 10 days before departure date
- If a person withdraws from the trip, the advance deposit is not refundable, but need to find a replacement for reserved place.
- In case of trip cancellation, if cancellation occurs consequence of the behavior of one or more passengers, Positive club reserves the right to retain the deposit paid for all passengers, including:
  * 30% of total paid deposit, 3 months before travel
  * 50% of total paid deposit, 2 months before travel
  * 70% of the paid deposit, one month before travel
  * 90% of total deposits paid, 15 days before travel
